Police Destroyed Drugs Worth Rp 45.96 B

West Jakarta Metro Resort Police has destroyed drugs worth Rp 45.96 billion, Wednesday (8/19). The drugs consist of 28.3 kg of crystal methamphetamine and 2.272 pills of ecstasy. Predictably, at least 115.484 people were successfully saved.

Such drugs were from cases handled throughout June-August 2015 with 12 perpetrators, including one woman. 

"Based on the cases, there is a dominant one that is 28 kg of methamphetamine that successfully secured early June ago," said Chief of Drugs Unit for West Jakarta Resort Police, AKBP Parulian Sinaga in the police station.

Besides that, the destroying was also conducted by West Jakarta District Attorney. The evidence consists 3.3 kg of crystal methamphetamine, 6.4 kg of ecstasy, and 8.2 of marijuana. 500 tablets without BPOM license also been destroyed. 

Staff of Criminal Offense Law for West Jakarta District Attorney, Soeryo Sadewo stated those drugs were from 117 cases that have been decreed by the attorney throughout December 2013-April 2015. 

"Based the decree of the judge and referring to Law, we destroy those drugs," he disclosed.
